Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Enablement Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for empowering our sales teams with the tools, training, and resources they need to engage effectively with customers / prospects and achieve their goals. As the Sales Enablement Manager, you will work closely with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to design and deliver strategies that drive sales productivity and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints. This position focuses exclusively on sales enablement and will partner with the sales operations manager as needed.

Responsibilities include:

Sales Training and Development

  • Source or develop and deliver training programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques
  • Manage and deliver sales onboarding programs for new sales team members to accelerate time-to-productivity
  • Identify skill gaps and implement learning initiatives to address them

Sales Content Development and Management:

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create sales collateral, presentations, and playbooks tailored to the needs of the sales team
  • Tailored sales plays: Structured guidance on how to approach various selling situations based on the specific buyer and their needs
  • Create and deploy sales campaign cadences across the global sales team to complement marketing campaigns
  • Maintain a central repository for sales resources to ensure accessibility and alignment across the organization
  • Ensure all sales materials reflect the latest product updates, value propositions, and messaging

Sales Tools and Technology Enablement:

  • Identify and recommend sales enablement tools and platforms that improve productivity and engagement
  • Train sales teams on effective use of tools like CRM systems, content management platforms, and analytics dashboards
  • Serve as the point of contact for tool-related inquiries and best practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Function as a bridge between sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, campaigns, and go-to-market strategies
  • Partner with subject matter experts to integrate market and product insights into sales strategies
  • Regularly gather feedback from the sales team to optimize enablement programs

Performance Tracking and Optimization:

  • Measure the effectiveness of enablement initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on enablement program outcomes.
  • Continuously refine strategies to support changing market conditions and business objectives.

The successful candidate’s required skills and experience

Experience

  • 5+ years in sales enablement, training, or related roles, preferably within the technology sector

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding of the sales process and customer journey
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Sales team coaching skills to install new approaches is a must
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with sales enablement platforms, CRM tools, and learning management systems
  • Creative and collaborative mindset with a passion for driving sales success
